Zombie love story? Wtf? While I haven’t read the book yet, this just looks weird. Twilight has copped a lot of slack for having a dead paranormal being ‘fall in love’ and produce a child. Why then, is this book/movie not copping the same flack? Zombies are just as dead as vampires – and to be honest, they’re a lot freakier. Why is there such a double standard then on what is considered ridiculous (Twilight) and what is considered pop culture because of the hype surrounding the zombie apocalypse?

While this story looks really silly in my opinion (um, hello necrophilia?), it does look fun as well. Twilight tries too hard to be serious that it really backfires on itself. I may not to waiting with bated breath for this movie, but it might be a fun film to watch with the girlfriends on a girl’s night out. Plus, it has Nicholas Hoult in it. (;

Warm Bodies comes out 1 February 2013.
